We were fortunate to have Marc Dansereau as our speaker at a recent Rotary meeting.  Marc shared his personal experience of losing a beloved daughter Bernadette, and how the Shuswap Hospice Society helped him and his family through this tragedy. Read more to see how Rotary helps.

Marc’s family appreciated so much the help, care and counseling they got from Hospice, specifically Canuck Place where the family was able to stay by Bernadette’s side during her treatments in Vancouver. This led to Marc using his sand sculpturing talents (a fun activity he had with Bernadette) to help support our local Hospice. Marc is a director of Shuswap Hospice.
